We were lucky enough to be part of this experience. Converse partnered with it’s creative community to create Converse City Forests, a series of murals around the globe designed by creatives designed to bring awareness and spark conversation around issues in their communities. Through the use of art, these Converse City Forests are a platform for creatives to share how they are Breaking Down Barriers in their communities. Our local artist was Seth Pimentel aka African Ginger, painted his mural as a statement about the power South African women have to change a narrative.
